Board Meeting Minutes 2/02/12

The meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm. at eh Belle Villa Clubhouse.

Roll call was taken, Treasurer excused absence, Trustee Elwart & Trustee Ostrowski absent, all other members present.

Chair motioned to approve the January 5, 2012 Board meeting minutes, Trustee Delaney seconded. Motion carried.

Treasurers Report (read by the Secretary): The post office was paid $50.00 for 6 months rental on the PO box. Tim Nickell was paid $15.17 for the website fees. A $10.00 check was written to the State of Michigan for the bylaw amendments. Current balance $842.68. We are being charge a monthly fee of $15.00, we will be checking with other banks for a cheaper fees.

Secretary Report: Chair signed the amendments form. Vice Chair Tinsley will get a copy of the insurance policy for the files. Secretary & Sandy Croswell have been filling out donation applications at businesses. Sams Club donated a $50.00 gift card for supplies and would like to have information and foster forms to add to their newsletter. Sams Club also will donate broken pet food packages, bi-weekly, when we need them. Walmart gave us information to sign up for their grant program.

Website is up to date with the donation button working. Tim is working on a Contributor/Sponsor page.

Trustee Delaney motioned to remove #2 & #6 from the agenda. Chair seconded, motion carried.

Raffle party was discussed, pizza price will be negotiated with delivery. Trustee Delaney motioned to call back with pizza price approval and to add the pizza company name to the BAARC Sponsor page. Chair seconded, motion carried. Trustee Delaney made a motion for approval of the Secretary to get the party supplies, Chair seconded, motion carried. Chair made a motion for Trustee Delaney to form a raffle committee, for future raffles, Vice Chair seconded. Motion carried. 

Business cards are needed ASAP.  Chair motioned for Trustee Delaney to start the template with miscellaneous animals to show the Board, Secretary seconded. Motion carried.

Chair checked into storage trailers, too costly at the present time. Will be checking into other types of trailers, example landscape, cube etc.

Next meeting was set for March 1, 2012, Belle Villa Clubhouse, at 6:30 pm.

Chair motioned, Trustee Delaney seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:10 pm.
